Overview
Every summer, the Ecuries du Maroy in Redon opens the doors of the CENTRE EQUESTRE DE L'HERBAUDIERE to introduce adults on horses and children on ponies to horse riding, whether in the riding arena or on rides through the salt marshes and along the beach at Uzéronde.
The centre offers:
- 1-hour lessons for all levels, on horses (from age 12) or ponies (from age 6), supervised by state-qualified instructors and on suitable mounts.
- horse rides for all levels through the salt marshes: at a walk for beginners, at a trot for intermediate riders and at all three gaits for experienced riders. For advanced riders (minimum: gallop 4), rides on the beach are organised, subject to the tides.
- 30-minute pony rides for children aged 3 and over, supervised by an instructor. The ponies are led by the parents. From the age of 5, we welcome children for 1-hour ‘ride’ lessons, including an introduction to riding independently in the arena (30 mins), followed by a ride led by parents.

Monday to Saturday from 9.00 am to 1.00 pm and from 3.00 pm to 7.00 pm. Closed on Sundays.
