Getting around the four towns and various tourist spots in the north of Noirmoutier Island couldn’t be easier: just board one of the island’s free shuttle buses!
The buses run on clean energy the goal is to promote sustainable tourism and eco-friendly mobility.
Ligne Z: BARBÂTRE / LA GUÉRINIÈRE / L'EPINE / NOIRMOUTIER-EN-L'ÎLE Line Z connects all four towns on the island of Noirmoutier during the day, from the roundabout at Pointe de la Fosse (in Barbâtre, near the island bridge) to the Noirmoutier-en-l'Île bus station (near the town center).
The service runs from July 4 to September 6, 2026. There is one departure every hour from both the Noirmoutier-en-l'Île bus station and the Rond-point Pointe de la Fosse (roundabout).
- Pointe de la Fosse Roundabout: Crossing through the towns of Barbâtre, La Guérinière and L'Épine to reach the Noirmoutier-en-l'Île bus station.
- Bus Station: Crossing through the towns of L'Épine, La Guérinière and Barbâtre to reach the Fosse roundabout.
NOIRMOUTIER-EN-L'ÎLE : LIGNeS A, B, C ET D
The four other Gratibus lines run daily during the day from July 4 to September 6, 2026 ; serving the northern part of the island, Noirmoutier-en-l'Île, and its surrounding hamlets.
- LIGNE A - GARE ROUTIERE / LES SABLEAUX: Heading towards Plage de Sableaux Beach.
- LIGNE B - GARE ROUTIERE / LE VIEIL: Heading towards the old Vieil and Madeleine villages.
- LIGNE C – GARE ROUTIERE / L'HERBAUDIÈRE: Heading towards L’Herbaudière harbour.
- LIGNE D – GARE ROUTIERE / PLAGE DES DAMES / LA CLÈRE: Heading towards La plage des Dames beach and La Clère district.
Practical Information: The Gratibus may run late or early depending on summer traffic conditions (traffic jams, roadworks, unexpected events, etc.).

- Accessibility: A retractable access ramp is installed on all buses in the fleet.
- Only small animals in a carrier, as well as guide dogs for the blind and assistance dogs, are allowed.
- Strollers, scooters, folding bikes, and bulky luggage are allowed subject to available space.
