"Île de Noirmoutier Aventures" is a fun treasure hunt to enjoy with family or friends!
A free app (in French only) to discover the island of Noirmoutier in a different way. Join Louise, our food-loving otter, on her amusing adventures. A brand-new treasure hunt, original puzzles, unique landscapes: the adventure awaits you and it promises to be great fun!
Using your smartphone or tablet, set off to (re)discover the island’s must-see sites: the Sébastopol Polder and the Passage du Gois, the heart of Noirmoutier-en-l’Île and the salt marshes.
Uncover the island’s unusual secrets and make your way through a breathtaking natural setting!
The “A Stroll with Louise” trail features fun puzzles in the Sébastopol Polder Regional Nature Reserve and near the legendary Passage du Gois in Barbâtre. (Re)discover the natural treasures of these unique sites by completing a series of challenges set by Louise the otter (puzzles, multiple-choice questions, etc.). They’ll help you solve the final riddle correctly!
Duration: between 1 hour and 1 hour 30 minutes
Suitable for children aged 5 and over. Free.
Tip: wear comfortable shoes, as you’ll be walking along paths and trails.
The 5 golden rules for a successful adventure:
- No internet connection is required whilst playing the game. However, you will need internet access (Wi-Fi, 3G, 4G, etc.) to download the app and one of the trails.
- To complete one of these adventure trails, we recommend that your mobile phone has at least 70 per cent battery life remaining.
- If you’ve already downloaded the app, remember to update it when prompted.
- Enable location services on your smartphone so that the augmented reality features work during your adventure.
- Accept all the terms and conditions for this game: the ‘camera’ function, the ‘location services’ feature, etc., whilst using this app. This will ensure the augmented reality features work properly.
