Overview

My approach to supporting individuals places the body at the centre of their relationship with life and perception in the processes of learning, relating and acting. My practice has been built up over the last 20 years, drawing primarily on training in kinesiology and fasciatherapy. Both approaches address the whole person and aim to restore the body/mind/heart connections that form the fabric of good health and well-being.

An individual session offers a moment of well-being through gentle yet deep touch that stimulates the self-regulating force of movement which animates our fasciae. Fasciae comprise all the connective tissue in the body that shapes, supports and compartmentalises it. Without fascia, there would be no body, no living being!
This specific approach combines a symptomatic touch that alleviates physical complaints with a relational touch that engages the individual. It also serves as a method for learning to recognise and listen to the body’s various sensations, with a view to developing a posture that fosters greater somatopsychic balance.

My areas of expertise:
- physical and psychological pain
- stress and anxiety, depression and burnout
- coordination and postural issues
- self-awareness

Support for:
- gaining perspective on events
- learning to let go
- people going through significant life changes (emotional, professional, relational)
