Cinéma le Mimosa

The Le Mimosa cinema is the only cinema on the island of Noirmoutier. A true institution since it opened in July 1949, it is classified as an ‘Art et Essai’ cinema and screens mainstream films as well as arthouse films in their original language all year round. It has two screens with the following capacities:

- Screen 1: 317 seats
- Screen 2: 160 seats

2026 prices:
- Adult: €9
- Concession (under 18s, students, jobseekers and people with disabilities, upon presentation of valid proof): €7.50
- Concession (under 14s, subject to proof of eligibility): €5
- 10-ticket pass (including a €2 card fee – maximum 4 tickets per screening): €77 (valid for 8 months; renewable for €75).

Holiday vouchers, bank cheques, cash, Pozeo cinema vouchers, universal cinema vouchers, ‘Pas Culture’ vouchers and credit cards are accepted.
NB: certain films are restricted to under-12s, under-16s and under-18s, even when accompanied by an adult. Proof of age will be required at the box office or at the security checkpoint before entry to the auditoriums.
