"Île de Noirmoutier Aventures" is a fun treasure hunt to enjoy with family or friends!
A free app (in French only) to discover the island of Noirmoutier in a whole new way. Join Louise, our food-loving otter, on her funny adventures! A brand-new treasure hunt, original puzzles and unique landscapes: adventure awaits, and it promises to be great fun!
Using your smartphone or tablet, set off to (re)discover the island’s must-see sites: The Sébastopol Polder and the Passage du Gois, the heart of Noirmoutier-en-l’île and the salt marshes. These routes will reveal the island’s most unusual secrets!
The “The Salt Marshes with Louise” trail takes place in L’Epine. Together with Louise the Otter, you’ll explore the island’s salt marshes, learn about their history and the traditional craft of salt-makers, and finish your walk by the sea. Help Louise complete her mission by tackling a series of challenges and enjoy the beauty of the salt marshes!
Duration: between 1 hour and 1 hour 30 minutes.
Suitable for children aged 5 and over. Free.
Tip: wear comfortable shoes, as you’ll be walking along narrow paths and tracks.
The 5 golden rules for a successful adventure trail:
- No internet connection is required whilst playing the game. However, you will need internet access (Wi-Fi, 3G, 4G, etc.) to download the app and one of the trails.
- To complete one of these fun trails, we recommend having at least 70 per cent battery life on your mobile phone.
- If you’ve already downloaded the app, remember to update it when prompted.
- Enable location services on your smartphone so that the augmented reality features work during your adventure.
