Overview
Etienne and Pascale are delighted to introduce GALU: a craft brewery on the island of Noirmoutier.
Originally from Les Sables d’Olonne and Noirmoutier, we’ve been offering our little GALU since March 2021. We design, brew and sell craft beers. The name Galu comes from combining the first names of our two sons, Gabriel and Lucas.
We offer a range of four varieties: Galu Blonde, Galu Blanche, Galu Rousse and Galu Porter. Two seasonal beers complete the range for the summer: Galu Éphémère and Galu Hivernale for the winter season. Beers are sold in 33cl and 75cl bottles directly from the brewery, at the markets in Noirmoutier and L’Epine, and at our partners’ premises on the island. Listed in Gault & Millau.
Open from the February half-term holidays until 31 December 2026.
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday: 4 pm to 6 pm. Wednesday: 11 am to 12.30 pm.
Friday mornings: Noirmoutier market.
Sunday mornings: Noirmoutier market (April to the end of September).
Saturday mornings: L’Epine market.
The brasserie is closed on Saturdays and Sundays, but we’ll be at the markets in L’Epine and Noirmoutier-en-l’Île. Please note: we’re also closed on brewing days.
