Overview
Welcome to ‘Clos du Vieil’, in the heart of the peaceful little village of Le Vieil, at the foot of the chapel.
Narrow streets lined with low stone walls and pretty fishermen’s cottages perched on the sand: this is the picture-postcard scene of Le Vieil.
You’ll find yourself getting around mainly by bike or on foot, meandering from alleyway to alleyway, almost all of which lead to the beach: Plage de la Madeleine, Plage de Mardi-Gras, Plage de la Clère.
The 4* villa is ideally situated barely a minute’s cycle ride (around 200 m) from these beaches and the centre of Le Vieil, where you’ll find a mini-market, a newsagent, bars and restaurants.
The villa is a recently built house designed by an architect, with a floor area of approximately 120 m². It can accommodate 6 people (family or friends).
You’ll first enter the hall, which leads to the 15 m² fully-fitted kitchen on one side; on the other side, you’ll find a spacious 51 m² living area, featuring a lounge equipped with a flat-screen TV (fibre broadband, Orange TV and access to Netflix, etc.), and a dining area with two French windows opening onto the fully fenced, landscaped garden. A beautiful decorative fireplace (not for use), modelled on those of days gone by, adds to the cosy atmosphere of this space.
The kitchen is fitted with an induction hob, an oven and a microwave, a dishwasher and a fridge-freezer, a coffee maker, a Senseo machine, a toaster, a kettle and a raclette set for six people…
To complement the kitchen, a washing machine and a hoover are also provided.
The villa features a bathroom with a large double bath, a double-basin unit, a cupboard with shelves and a washing machine.
The sleeping area comprises two bedrooms and a cabin-style bedroom:
• 1 bedroom with a double bed (160 x 200)
• 1 bedroom with a double bed (140 x 190)
• A sleeping area with two single bunk beds (90 x 190) (for children or teenagers)
You can enjoy a 3-person jet spa in a room adjoining the house. This allows you to spend pleasant evenings in the spa whilst enjoying a beautiful view of the starry sky.
You can park your car at the rear of the villa (private area) throughout your stay, accessed via a sliding gate. Free public parking is available next to the villa for additional cars.
Four adult bicycles are available free of charge throughout your stay, so you can explore the island of Noirmoutier.
Our canine and feline friends are also welcome to enjoy a pleasant holiday with their owners, subject to prior arrangement with the owner. Only one pet is permitted. (Pets must be microchipped or tattooed, vaccinated and not classified as Category 1 or 2): €5 per night
On arrival, we will ask you for:
1 deposit cheque for €1,500 to cover the rental.
1 deposit cheque for €150 for the end-of-stay cleaning, if you book the cleaning service.
Payment of tourist tax per adult per night
Services available:
Electric car charging option – extension lead not provided (€50 per week or €8 per day)
Towels, bed linen and household linen. (€20 per person per stay)
End-of-stay cleaning. (Fixed fee of €150)
Baby kit (cot and mattress, high chair, bath and potty) for your little ones: available on request.
Weekly rentals during school holidays and from MARCH to SEPTEMBER inclusive
