Welcome to the Clos du Vieil cottage, in a quiet spot at the end of a cul-de-sac, in the small, peaceful village of Le Vieil, at the foot of the chapel.

Narrow lanes lined with low stone walls and pretty fishermen’s cottages perched on the sand – this is the picture-postcard view of Le Vieil.

You’ll mainly get around by bike or on foot, meandering from alleyway to alleyway, almost all of which lead to the beach: Plage de la Madeleine, Plage de Mardi-Gras and Plage de la Clère.

The villa is ideally situated just a minute’s cycle ride (around 200 m) from these beaches and the centre of Le Vieil, where you’ll find a mini-market, a newsagent, bars and restaurants.

The Clos du Vieil cottage is a charming, recently built house with a floor area of 37.50 m². It can accommodate 4 people (family or friends).

You’ll enter the villa through one of the two architect-designed French windows.

As soon as you enter, you’ll find the fitted kitchen, equipped with a fridge, dishwasher, multi-function oven, two induction hobs, a coffee machine, toaster, kettle and all the crockery you’ll need for a pleasant stay.

In the same room, you’ll find a dining table and a relaxation area with a television. You can enjoy the sunshine all day long, thanks to this charming little house’s south-facing aspect.

To complement the kitchen, the adjoining utility room is equipped with a freezer, washing machine and vacuum cleaner.

A lovely south-facing lawned terrace, complete with garden furniture, lounge chairs and a barbecue, will allow you to make the most of pleasant days and evenings with family or friends in peaceful surroundings.

There are two bedrooms:

A bedroom with a 140x190 double bed on a mezzanine level, separated by a blackout curtain and opening onto the relaxation area
A bedroom with two 90 x 190 single bunk beds, featuring a Velux window that opens and has a blackout blind.Storage space is available in the bedroom with the single bunk beds.


For all beds, you’ll find two pillows (60 x 60 cm) per person, and duvets (measuring 220 x 240 for double duvets and 140 x 200 for single duvets)

You can park your car throughout your stay in the shared courtyard (private area).

Two adult bicycles are available free of charge throughout your stay, so you can explore the island of Noirmoutier.

Our canine and feline friends are also welcome to enjoy a pleasant holiday, accompanied by their owners, subject to prior arrangement with the owner. Only one pet is permitted. (Pets must be microchipped or tattooed, vaccinated and not classified as Category 1 or 2): €5 per night – Please note: the property is fenced but has no gate.

This accommodation does not have internet or Wi-Fi.

On arrival, we will ask you for:
- 1 cheque for a €1,000 security deposit for the rental.
- 1 cheque for a €70 cleaning deposit, if you book the cleaning service.
- Payment of tourist tax (2025 rates): €1.54 per person aged 18 and over per day

Electric car charging option (extension lead not provided): €50 per week or €8 per day
Towels, bed linen and household linen. (€20 per person per stay)
End-of-stay cleaning. (Fixed charge of €70)
Baby kit (cot and mattress, high chair, bath and potty) for your little ones: €20 per stay
